Megson Confirms Application

FORMER West Brom manager Gary Megson has confirmed that he has applied for the vacant managers job at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

FORMER West Brom manager Gary Megson has confirmed that he has applied for the vacant managers job at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The news that Megson has applied for the job will come as no surprise as he has been favourite for the job since early this month.

However Megson today made the unusual step of making his application public.

"I have contacted Wolverhampton. Part of my agreement is that I can apply for any jobs in the top two divisions." Megson told BBC 5 Live.

"I'm keen to get working at a club where I can achieve some of the things that were achieved at West Brom."

*Meanwhile Mikkel Bischoff has returned to Manchester City. The defender who was on loan at Molineux  has had his loan terminated due to a dislocated shoulder sustained in Saturdays win over Rotherham.
