Bischoff Hoping For Molineux Stay

IMPRESSIVE on-loan Wolves defender Mikkel Bischoff has said he would love to stay at Molineux. The Manchester City player is over half-way through his 2-month loan period.

IMPRESSIVE on-loan Wolves defender Mikkel Bischoff has said he would love to stay at Molineux. The Manchester City player is over half-way through his 2-month loan period.

Bischoff has played in all but one game since he joined Wolves prior to the West Ham game in early October.

The former Danish U21 star had fallen out of favour at the City Of Manchester Stadium, but scored his first goal for Wolves against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

"I am happy here and it is good for me to be playing first team football again," Said Bischoff. "But it is difficult to say what will happen because that is down to the club's and it will be a decision for whoever comes in as manager here.

"It was a big step for me to come here. It is a big stadium with a vocal crowd but I am enjoying my football and am happy with the way things are going."

Bischoff also added that he was sad to see Manager Dave Jones sacked last Monday. 

"It's always sad when a manager goes, we didn't want Dave to lose his job and I feel what he did for me was very important. I was not getting in the first team at Manchester City and Dave gave me a chance.

"I am disappointed but we have to get on with our jobs."
