As the disaster of last season struck, the Gold and Black tribe all looked for reasons and explinations on why it went wrong. In my opinion missing one of our best players was the key.
Mark Kennedy sufferd a few niggling injuries last season, one which forced him out of the Manchester City crunch game at Main Road and one which forced him to miss the final few games of the season, how costly was that?
I believe the turning point for our season was Nottingham Forest Away however I also believe Grimsby Town at home was our main downfall. Not only did we play poorly but we lost the game, our Right-Back was caught viewing Red Mist (again) and Kennedy was carried off, and how we missed our left-winger.
Things however are looking brighter, Sparky (as he is known) was forced to miss out on the World Cup through injury but is going to report back to training 2 weeks early in order to gain full fitness for the new campeign. With a fit kennedy Wolves have the ability to meet the Dave Jones target of 90 points. Should this be the case, next season could have one very happy end to it, oh and how sweet that would be!
Dont forget to send your own private message to the Players, they need all the support they can get!
