WOLVES duo Kenny Miller and Shaun Newton were both on target tonight as Wolves eased passed Mansfield Town 2-1.

Wolves striker Kenny Miller and winger Shaun Newton both scored in a 2-1 win away at Mansfield Town tonight.

Wolves were playing their penultimate friendly of the pre-season due to the cancellation of tomorrows game against Kidderminster Harriers, but were pushed hard for the win.

Jones opted to play a strong side, starting with Kenny Miller and George Ndah in attack.

Miller scored Wolves' first goal, a tap in, after 33 minutes before Day powered a corner home after 62 minutes.

Newton gave Wolves the lead for the second time two minutes later, but Keith Curls men battled to the end.
