WOLVES defender Joleon Lescott limped off
injured a minute before half-time during Wolves 0-0 draw with Northampton Town
today.
Joleon Lescott, who has played just 45
minutes of football since the Play-Off final back in May 2003 limped off the
pitch a minute before the interval with a suspected jarred knee.
Wolves winger Mark Kennedy, who is being
tested out as a left-back was also replaced after suffering a slight groin
strain.
The game finished with a new-look side as
Jones gave many of the youngsters a chance to impress.
Speaking after the game Jones said "I thought we looked a bit tired but we've probably done a bit too much travelling over the last few days."
"But it was nice to see eight kids on at the end and for the first teamers that did play it was a really good work out."
Wolves will now travel to Mansfield on
Tuesday for the next of the pre-season schedule.
