WOLVES have taken South African Central Defender Matthew Booth on trial whilst out on tour in Norway.

The 27 year old has played for Cape Town and Johannesburg before he moved to Russia where he is currently plying his trade.

The big Centre Half said of his trial "I've wanted to play in England since I was a kid and now that I've been given this opportunity, hopefully I will make the most of it. But it will be up to the gaffer."

Booth is expected to play some part in tonight's friendly against Tromso.
