OFFICIALS at Wolverhampton Wanderers have today announced that tomorrows planned Pre-Season encounter away at Hednesford Town has been postponed.

OFFICIALS at Wolverhampton Wanderers have today announced that tomorrows planned Pre-Season encounter away at Hednesford Town has been postponed.

The game due to be played tomorrow (13-07-04) has been postponed due to "illness and injury" to several members of the Wolves squad.

The squad was to be split in two as Wolves also have a Pre-Season game at Tamworth tomorrow night, but the shortage of numbers has lead to Wolves having to cancel the game at Hednesford.

Wolves Secretary, Richard Skirrow said "We would like to apologise to Hednesford Town officials, sponsors and supporters for this late cancellation"

In return for the late cancellation, Wolves have promised to take a full strength squad to Hednesford at a later date.

The game at Tamworth will take place as expected.
