WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS are set to sign Aston Villa defender Rob Edwards for a fee in the region of £150,000.

Edwards, a 21 year old Welsh International failed to make one appearance for Aston Villa last term, however he did spend time on loan at Crystal Palace and Derby County.

Meanwhile the proposed move for Nigerian star Seyi Olofinjana could be back on after the stars move to Monaco fell through.
