WE reported last week that Henri Camara had said in the press that he would not be returning to train with Wolverhampton Wanderers. No quotes were ever found backing our story up, but Camara's agent today confirmed the news.

Henri Camara had a written transfer request rejected from Wolves, but it has been revealed today that Henri Camara has no intention of playing for Wolves in The Championship.

"Henri has told me he will not go back to Wolves to play in the Championship and from what he has said I don't think he will return to Wolverhampton for pre-season training," Said Camara's agent Willie McKay.

Wolves Manager Dave Jones said yesterday that Camara could either return to Molineux and work hard to help Wolves back to the top flight, or "sulk in the reserves". Today's news may see neither happen.

Meanwhile Wolves Portuguese midfielder Silas has returned to Portugal.

The former Sporting Lisbon star has failed to make an impact at Molineux and has been sent on a season-long loan to Maritimo.

Portuguese top-flight side Maritimo also have the option of buying Silas for £3M at any stage of the loan.
