ACCORDING to reports, Wolverhampton Wanderers are on the verge of signing former Chelsea and Leeds United defender Michael Duberry.

ACCORDING to reports, Wolverhampton Wanderers are on the verge of signing former Chelsea and Leeds United defender Michael Duberry.

Wolves Manager Dave Jones has been given a transfer kitty in the region of £7M and Jones looks set to spend £600,000 of it on Leeds United defender Michael Duberry.

 

Duberry, once a £4.5M signing from Chelsea is expected to make the move to Wolverhampton in the next few days as Jones looks at adding to the Wolves defence which leaked over 70 goals in the first season back in the top flight.

 

Wolves have also been linked with a move for Boavista Striker Sousa and Nigerian International Seyi Olofinjana. A deal with the latter, a tough and battling midfielder looks promising.
