GOSSIP
TIME: FIRST Kennedy, secondly Paul Butler and now George Ndah. The list of
Wolves Players who are reportedly set to join Nottingham Forest goes on...
With
the season at it's end and Euro 2004 a few weeks away, the only football
comfort the average Fan has is to sit in the pub mulling over who their club
will be buying in the summer.
Wolves
have a reported £7M to spend and several names have been linked. Pennant,
Keown, Bentley and Marc Bircharm are the first to spring to mind, but the
majority of the rumours if you are a Nottingham Forest fans surround
Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Mark
Kennedy was the first to be linked with a move across the Midlands. However
the fact that Kennedy still has a year left on his contract, finished the
season strongly and has been confirmed by Manager Dave Jones as in his plans
for next season, has made a move to Forest look extremely unlikely.
Chance
Of Joining Forest: 3/10
Paul
Butler comes next on the Nottingham Forest rumour list. Butler is out of
contract in the summer and has made his feelings about the current Molineux
contract situation well known. However Wolves are set to offer the Club
Captain a new contract. Butler is asking for a 2 year contract, whilst Wolves
look set to offer just one.
Chance
Of Joining Forest: 7/10
Finally
comes out of contract Wolves' Striker George Ndah. The quick forward has not
kicked a football since the Play-Off Semi-Finals last Summer, but Wolves
Manager Dave Jones has told the media that Ndah will be offered a new
contract. Ndah himself has expressed his wish to stay at Molineux, so a move
to Forest seems a long way off.
Chance
Of Joining Forest : 4/10
