WOLVERHAMPTON
Wanderers star Mark Kennedy has pulled out of the Republic Of Ireland squad
ahead of their trio of games against Romania, Nigeria and Jamaica.
The
left-sided player has 34 caps for the Republic Of Ireland to his name, but the
Wolves star has not been capped once by Ireland in over two years.
He
received his call-up to the National squad for the first time since February
2002 earlier this month, but Kennedy has had to withdraw from the squad due to
his persistent groin injury.
Kennedy
has had trouble with his groin for almost two years and Wolves officials will
have him in for intensive treatment over the summer.
Other
News (In Brief)
Colin
Cameron and Kenny Miller meanwhile have been called-up by Scotland whilst Vio
Ganea has been selected for Romania.
Henri
Camara who asked for a transfer away from Molineux on Friday has been called
up by Senegal for World Cup and African Nation Cups qualifiers.
