WOLVES winger Mark Kennedy has been re-called to the Ireland squad for the first time in two years. Kennedy is part of a 31 man squad to play Romania, Nigeria, Jamaica and the Netherlands.

WOLVES winger Mark Kennedy has been re-called to the Ireland squad for the first time in two years. Kennedy is part of a 31 man squad to play Romania, Nigeria, Jamaica and the Netherlands.

Mark Kennedy has an impressive 34 Irish Caps to his name with three goals, but the skillful winger has not appeared for the Republic of Ireland for over two years.

 

His last International game came in Irelands 2-0 win over Russia back in February 2002, but Brian Kerr has selected Kennedy in his 31 man squad for the first time.

 

Ireland have friendly games lined up against Romania, Nigeria, Jamaica and the Nertherlands this summer and Wolves Manager Dave Jones is said to be "delighted" that Kennedy has made a return to the International scene.
