Goater May Stay As Wolves Move Away!

Jez Moxey has stated that no fresh bid has been made for City ace Shaun Goater and it does appear Wolves may have lost intrest in the strong centre-forward. Jez Moxey told the Wolves Official Website how close they came to signing Goater last season, the deal was as good as done however the Bermudan international had a change of heart and pledged his future to the Blue and White of Manchester City.

After Wolves failed in their promotion bid, speculation has grown on another effort to sign Goater, especially after the signings Kevin Keegan has made at Main Road and the limited chancies of First team football The Goat will recieve next season.

Wolves however have squashed reports that they are close to signing the striker who smashed in over 30 goals for the Nationwide Champions last year.

Jez Moxey told Teamtalk "We have made no bid for the player. Even if he is available I would not want people to assume we were going to buy him just because we tried to get him last summer."

It is common knowledge however that a new sriker will sign, if it`s not goater, who could it be??
