WOLVES CHIEF Executive Jez Moxey has tried to discard any chance of us winning our campaign to bring back the Liquidator - But we will fight on to the bitter end!

We here at wolvesfc.co.uk last night launched a campaign - following the plea by Manager Dave Jones for an "intimidating" Molineux Atmosphere - to bring back The Liquidator.

Wolves Officials had banned the Liquidator, on the advice of the Police - who believed the song incited trouble and bad language, but the tune was re-instated for the Play-Off Semi Final second leg against Norwich two seasons ago.

The Norwich game was a "must win" one, like Saturday's Premiership encounter against Southampton. However, Wolves Chief Executive Jez Moxey has replied to our appeal via the Express and Star.

""Everyone knows what the club's position is. They will understand the pressures that were brought to bear on us by the authorities and there will be no going back." Said Moxey, who also stated that the club will do everything possible to ensure home advantage in the remaining few games.

Moxey also stated - and rightly so - that the club do not tolerate bad language, however the Liquidator may be the difference between Premiership and Football League Football next season.

We have been swamped with messages of support from fans who are desperate for the Liquidator to be played in some, or all of the final five Premiership Games at Molineux.

Darren Postin: "I think we should definitely bring back the 'Liquidator' for the last 5 games. If it stopped bad language all together then I'd say fair enough, but it doesn't. Bad language is used in different songs we sing and you cant stop us fans singing."
