AFTER THE terrible week which has just
passed, Wolves are left licking their wounds. A Wolf is most dangerous when it's
hurt and these pack of Wolves need something at Chelsea on Saturday.
When things are looking bad, everything
seems to go against you and when your in desperate need of three points, the
last thing you need is an away trip to Chelsea - but that is exactly what we
have and it's something we must deal with.
It's fair to say that things don't look
too clever. After conceding a last minute goal to Sami Hyypia last Saturday,
things went from bad to worse. Leicester squeezed a last minute point out of the
game at the Walkers Stadium, Portsmouth beat Southampton and Leeds were lucky to
beat Man City, but the latter was a result which has left Wolves at the foot of
the Premiership table.
Without an away win all season and without
a goal in the previous three games a defeat seems on the cards. However, we all
know that Wolves are most dangerous when they are hurt and these Wolves are
currently licking their wounds and are ready to give it a bloody good go on
Saturday.
Let's not forget that this Wolves side has
already beaten Manchester United and taken points of Liverpool and Newcastle.
Arsenal expected a breeze at Molineux, but Wolves left them mighty relieved that
they came out of the game with three points.
It will take a huge slice of luck, a huge
hangover from their mid-week Champions League game against Arsenal for Chelsea
to slip up at Stamford Bridge tomorrow but as time runs out for Wolves,
something from the game is a must.
Paul Ince was hospitalised after a clash
with John Arne Riise last week and will face a late fitness test which he will
have to pass if he is to play at Stamford Bridge. Colin Cameron will be ready to
stand-in should the Skipper not be fit.
Wolves take a 3,000 strong Barmy Army to
Chelsea. It's going to be incredibly tough and the chances are we won't get
anything. However, we're in this together and with the Wolves, you just never
know!
