Wolves Linked WIth Shaka Hislop.

Shaka Hislop today joined the list with Denis Irwin, Clinton Morrison and Ben Thatcher as yet another player has been linked with Wolves. Dave Jones made it clear last season that Wolves needed another keeper as cover for Oakes however a new keeper didn`t arrive. Past target Shaka Hislop has become a free agent and Jones may make a swoop for the Ex West Ham shot stopper.

Wolves had young Hammers keeper Steven Bywater on loan early on in the season but sources tell us it was Hislop who was the main target.

Hislop is no stranger to Molineux as he played in Steve Bulls Testimonial agains Brazilian side Santos a few years back however we will face competition to sign the Trinidad & Tobago goal-keeper. Portsmouth are also intrested in Shaka Hislop.

Pompy boss Harry Redknapp says "Shaka is a player who I know very well from my time at West Ham. I know all about him and what he can do.
"I will be looking to speak to Shaka at some point in the next month. He is a player who has been on my list for some time and now I know he is available, I will be setting the wheels in motion."

If we do manage to win the race for his signature i believe he will put pressure on current shot stopper Michael Oakes and nothing is better than a bit of competition.
