Wolves Striker Carl Cort, who recently joined Wolves for £2M is being hunted by police after failing to appear in court to answer to motoring charges.

The Evening Chronicle claims that Magistrates have issued a warrant for the arrest of Cort who failed to turn up for the second time when he was due to answer Motoring Charges by Bedlington JP's.

Cort is charged with two offences of failing to supply information to Police. The Striker, who joined from Newcastle for £2M in the January Transfer Window was due in court yesterday, but failed to turn up to answer charges which were proved in his absence on January 30th. The Evening Chronicle believes that Cort already has 6pts on his license and may face disqualification under the totting-up procedure.
