The deadline for the January Transfer Window is rapidly approaching. Wolves would need to complete a signing before 5pm today and a new signing is looking less and less likely..

Wolves Manager Dave Jones has added Romanian Striker Vio Ganea, Carl Cort for £2M and Paul Jones from Southampton, via Liverpool for £250,000.

 Jones spent more than many pundits had expected but is yet to secure defensive cover for his battling Wolves side. Oleg Luzhny, who was secured in the Summer Transfer Window has failed to live up to expectation leaving Jones with few options at the back.

 Lee Naylor is growing into a Premiership left-back game by game despite the continued flack he receives each week and despite being the oldest player in the Premiership, Denis Irwin is looking comfortable.

 Butler and Craddock are forming a formidable partnership at the back, but should injuries occur, Jones would be left with just Luzhny and Clyde.
