Liverpool Travel to Molineux on Wednesday on the back of a poor defeat to Spurs. Wolves go into the game on the back of a win against English Champions Manchester United - But this game is crucial to both teams, for very different reasons.

 The win against Manchester United was sweet. It is a game which will live fondly in the memory of all who attended, but Liverpool are the visitors to Molineux, and the Manchester United game now must be forgotten.

 It would be criminal for Wolves to put in a poor performance against Liverpool tomorrow, especially as the hard work and determination helped Wolves claim an unexpected three points at the weekend.

 This is the game in hand. A game which, should Wolves win, would move them to a point from safety, but Wolves are not the only club in need of the three points.

 Liverpool`s season has not lived up to expectation, and after several poor results three points at Molineux will come as a great relief to Gerrard Houllier.

 Molineux is becoming the base of Wolves survival attempts this season. Seven drawn and three games won is the record at Molineux since a defeat to Chelsea in September, four months ago.

 Only Leeds United have conceded less than Wolves this season and Wolves have one of the weakest attacks in the Top Flight, but Football is never that simple, as we all noted on Saturday.

 Hassan Kachloul has returned to Aston Villa after a three-month Loan spell and Steven Gerrard is expected to make his return to first team action for the visitors.
