Kidderminster Harriers make the
short trip to Molineux on Tuesday night to replay the 3rd Round FA Cup
tie which they came so close to winning on the 3rd January. WOLVES Vs
KIDDERMINSTER
This is really a game Wolves could
do without. It is also a game in which the average Wolves fan would
trade some local embarrassment with 3 Premiership Points against
Manchester United or Liverpool, but it`s a game Wolves could do with
winning to keep the confidence high.
This game is sandwiched in
the middle of a tough and daunting fixture pile-up for Dave Jones. The
first leg was followed by the visit of Blackburn, Charlton Away,
Tuesdays game and then Manchester United and Liverpool both head to
Molineux.
It is yet another Cup Final
for the men from Kidderminster, but after their heroic efforts in the
first leg, Wolves should at least show the respect they deserve and play
a strong squad. Which they will.
Some players however will be
rested and it is so far unknown if Henri Camara will be available to
play. The Senegal International, who missed the first game through
injury is due to fly out to the African Nations Cup, but Wolves have
requested that he stays for the following three league and cup games. A
decision awaits.
Jones is expected to give a
starting debut to Romanian International Vio Ganea whilst Lee Naylor is
expected to miss the game through injury - Oleg Luzhny is expected to
replace the young left-back.
Paul Butler could return
after suspension and Ince will captain the side after missing the game
at Kidderminster due to a cold.
Losing would not be the end
of the world as more important things lie in the mind of Dave Jones, but
Wins breed confidence and confidence in front of goal is something
Wolves are currently short of.
