Wolves, yet again, have been linked to a player

Wearing Old Gold?

Well well well. We've been linked with Ince, Irwin, Sherwood, Armstrong, Morrison, a couple of Russains and the tea lady next door! Find out who is next on the train heading for Molineux... This one is a more believable one! Honest! His name is Adam Stansfield and he plays for Yeovil Town.

Jones apparently kept tabs on him and has said to be impressed with his ability in front of goal. This season he has scored 13 times from 19 games and has been a key part of Yeovil's push for promotion and there success in the FA Trophy.

The Plymouth born striker originally played for local Sunday league teams such as Cullompton and Tiverton. After a spell with Exeter reserves he moved to Yeovil and has not looked back since. He scored on his debut against Northwich Victoria on December 1st.

His superb form hasn't only got noticed by Wolves with Wigan believed to be in the chase for him. And at £250,000 it could be just the carrot that both teams will bite at.

So who knows, it could be another player that is coming to Molineux and gets as far as the bus stop and turns around or it could be one that gets a single to Molineux and becomes a hero.

More news as it happens.
