 The Euphoria of that fantastic England World Cup Final had well and truly evaporated in the gold section at Goodison Park on Saturday. Whats worse, it took just 19 minutes to dry up.

 This game was won and lost in the first 19 minutes, despite Wolves looking the better team for the first ten minutes.

 The talk before the game was to keep Everton from the door early on. "Let`s frustrate them, let the fans get on their back and then pounce" was the teamtalk from the Wolves Fans, however this was a massive contraction to what actually happened.

 Keeping Everton tight was our aim. Everton were two goals to the good before the 20 minute mark, the game was over, Wolves were still without an away win, things are not looking so good now.

 Henri Camara, who now hosts a pony tail headed wide from an Irwin cross in the early stages but it was Irwin again who was partly to blame for the opening goal.

 Wolves tried to work the ball from the back. All was going to plan as Craddock passed to Irwin, but the former Manchester United Ace passed the ball straight to Radzinski who smashed the ball home from 20 yrds after 16 minutes. Very sloppy.

 "Get an equaliser quick" the fans urged. A goal did come, and it was quick, it was 2-0.

 Less than 3 minutes later and the Wolves defence, which had improved greatly in recent weeks was found guilty of failing to close down Wayne Rooney. His cross was inviting and Kevin Kilbane looped a header over Oakes into the net. Even Sloppier.

 A 2-0 scoreline at the break flattered Wolves, Rooney should have scored whilst Radzinski missed arguably the best chance of the game after shooting straight at Oakes.

 Jones changed Iversen for Blake and Newton for Miller at half time and the Welsh International could have scored with his first chance.

 A great Kennedy centre saw Blake swing a leg, fail to make contact with the ball, and the chance went begging.

 Ten minutes later and Blake had a free header from 6yrds, sadly he only managed to his the legs of Nigel Martyn.

 Things need to improve, and very quickly.
