Joleon Lescott`s season is over, before the young star has kicked a ball in this Premiership Season after a double knee operation in the summer.

Joleon Lescott had operations on both knees in pre-season and it was feared the Player Of The Season for last term would miss the beggining of the first ever Barclaycard Premiership Season.

Those fears were proved correct, but today the Club have announced that Lescott will be out for the rest of this season.

"We are very pleased with the way things went with the operation and it looks like the problem Joleon has been suffering with has now been sorted out, although we are keen to ensure his recovery takes all the time it needs" Said Wolves Physio Barry Holmes.

Wolves Manager Dave Jones said "If it is that the surgical team and everyone else involved in Jo`s rehabilitation can guarantee that he is 100% recovered and fit before the end of the season then we will look at things again, but as far as we are concerned, he probably won`t be involved again until next term".
