 Dave Jones is having to play the waiting game as he waits for special Premier League dispensation to sign a Goalkeeper on loan before Wolves play Middlesbrough at the Riverside on Saturday.

 Last Seasons Play-Off Final Man Of The Match Matt Murray has had a torrid time with injuries so far this campaign, and this has caused a problem for Manager Dave Jones.

 Murray has started just one game this season, in the 5-1 defeat at Blackburn Rovers, but a back and finger injury respectively has kept the England U21 International on the sidelines.

 Michael Oakes was given the number one shirt in Murray`s absence and the former Villa star has taken his chance with both hands and is currently impressing in between in the sticks.

 Murray was recently back in full training and pushing Oakes for the number one slot, but he has picked up a foot injury and is ruled out for the next month at least, so Jones needs cover.

 The Premiership Transfer window states that no play can move club until the Transfer Window opens in January, however if a club can prove that they have no other option but to draft in another Goalkeeper (only) then the Premier League will give the club special dispensation to sign one.

 Dave Jones and Wolves have applied for dispensation and, should this be granted, Wolves will be hoping to secure a loan deal before tomorrows game.
