Player Of The Season Joleon Lescott has had an injury set-back. It
appeared the Under-21 England International was approaching full fitness
but he is now expected to be out until Christmas. Lescott,
who formed a superb and steady relationship with Paul Butler in the
season which saw Wolves win at Cardiff will re-visit his specialist to
see why he is still feeling pain in his knee`s. The
young star had Operations on both knees after the Play-Off final
in May and it now appears that he will be out until Christmas.
“The
boy is feeling pain from the knee, which also became swollen as he
increased his workload." Said Manager Dave Jones. “He
hasn’t got full mobility in the knee, so we felt it best that the
specialist takes a look to assess the situation.” Source:
Dave Jones was talking to ic Birmingham.
