 Wolves` Nigerian Defender Isaac Okoronkwo has admitted that he is getting "Depressed" sitting on the bench each week for Wolves. He also admitted he finds it hard getting himself motivated for Reserve Games.

 The Nigerian International was Dave Jones` first signing after the club won promotion on that memorable day against Sheffield United at the Millennium Stadium in May but has yet to feature in a league game for Wolves.

 The tall defender has made just one senior appearance for Wolves this season and that was against third division opposition in the form of Darlington. The lack of first team football is something he`s not used to, "Since I came back from the Olympics I played in every game for Shakhtar Donetsk (Okoronkwo`s previous club), in the Champions League and EUFA cup too. I`ve played every game for the National team in the past two years, including the World Cup. Coming here and sitting on the bench for five or six games, no matter who you are would be frustrating" Said Okoronkwo.

 The World Cup star also admitted he finds it hard to motivate himself playing in the Wolves Reserves. "The problem is I find it very hard to get motivated for reserve games" he said. "You come to the stadium and there is nobody inside, you don`t know most of the players you`re with and its hard to get any emotions from the game".

 Sadly for Okoronkwo, the partnership of Paul Butler and Jody Craddock seems to be working, plus last seasons player of the season Joleon Lescott and the impressive Mark Clyde are still due to come back for injury, the future is not looking too bright, but he still hopes he will be involved in the squad which plays Fulham tomorrow.

 ""I hope I will still be in the squad which plays away at Fulham on Saturday, we will see" he said. "For me though, just sitting on the bench is not encouraging. I`m getting depressed just sitting on the bench all the time and not getting a chance to play"
