 For the first time this season, Wolverhampton Wanderers have failed to sell the allocation of tickets for Tomorrows trip to Southampton.

 The news that Wolves have an estimated 200 tickets left for tomorrows game at Southampton has come as a shock to Wolverhampton Wanderers, especially as the news of the remaining tickets comes on a day that Wolves boss Dave Jones praised the Wolves Fans.

 Jones told WOW earlier today "The support we’ve received has been fantastic. We always knew it’d be like this because the fans have been waiting for Premiership football for such a long time."

  "We played in front of a full house when Portsmouth came to Molineux a couple of weeks ago and the noise at times was overwhelming. Their support can be like an extra man."

  "It was the same at Old Trafford. I don’t think anyone could believe how noisy our supporters were by comparison to the home crowd. There was probably another 60,000 Manchester United fans but all you could hear was the Wolves support."

  "They’ve been superb and we just hope it continues. We travel to Southampton tomorrow for Saturday’s game and while I know it’s not a new experience after playing them in the Cup last year, it’s always nice to know that your fans have travelled to see you play."

  "It’s a long way and watching your team both home and away is an expensive business but we appreciate the support and hope to send fans home happy."

 Despite Jones` praise of the Wolves Fans, the news that tickets are still available for the game comes as a big surprise.

 It is expected that the reason for this is due to the trouble fans experienced trying to buy tickets for the Blackburn and Manchester United games.

 For this season, Fans are unable to collect tickets from the ground, instead they are asked to phone the club ten days prior to the game, on a first come first serve basis to try and buy just two tickets to Season Tickets only.

 It is believed that a number of fans have had to pay in the region of £20 for a single telephone call to the club whilst trying to buy tickets - many of which failed to purchase tickets due to the demand, and it is believed this is the reason Fans have failed to take the whole allocation at St Mary`s.
