Wolves have been boosted by the news that Kenny Miller is preparing to return to training on Monday after his first course of treatment for his hernia was a success.

Miller, who was Wolves leading scorer last season had an operation on his Hernia after scoring in Scotlands European Qualifier against Scotland.

The Operation was a simple one to perform, however after scar tissue refused to go away, Miller has been unable to kick a ball for the last 3 months.

This came as a major blow to Jones, especially as finding the net on the field has proved a worrying problem.

Miller however has been given a new course of treatment and this improved the comfort of his injury immediately, so much so, that Miller is expecting to return to training as early as next week.

"It’s been a long journey since the operation but I’m getting there now and hopefully I could be back training in the next ten days," Miller told WOW.

"I say ten days but it could be more, could be less depending on when the injection kicks in. It should help break up and loosen the scar tissue that should allow me to get back to full running and kicking a ball. I just hope it has the desired effect.

"It’s been frustrating these last few weeks since the season’s started. It’s difficult just watching games, not being involved. After getting promoted I looked forward to playing in the Premier League and it’s hard just sitting on the sidelines but I hope to be involved soon enough."

wolvesfc.co.uk Reported Yesterday that Matt Murray had limped out of training and had been ruled out of Saturdays game at Southampton, however it has now been revealed that the knock he picked up in training is not as serious as first thought, and he may be in contention for Saturday.

Mark Kennedy is expecting to be named in the squad which plays Southampton on Saturday. The Republic Of Ireland star has been out for the past two months, but started full training this week.
