Officials classed Wolves as the "loudest fans to ever grace the
Millennium Stadium", Wolves fans would rather watch the lads than
have sex with their partners, Wolves fans watch more football than any
other set of fans...and Wolves Fans are the brainiest in the Country. Wolves` Club Captain, Paul Butler today paid tribute to the Wolves fans and was claimed that the Fans are "Massive to us". In an interview to the Express and Star Butler said "At Old Trafford, I had mates in the United end and they couldn't believe it. They had heard fans go up there and 'give it some' for 20 minutes or so but then it generally fades. But our lot were constant. Sixty-odd thousand and all you could here was the 3,000 Wolves fans. It's true as well. I watched the highlights and that's all you heard. We've had the fans on our backs at times but this was the other side, this is what you want. They are just massive for us." Despite the noise made at Old Trafford, Cardiff and at Reading, Butler was gob smacked at the noise the Wolves fans made at home to Portsmouth. "And after the Portsmouth game, all the lads could talk about in the dressing room was the fans. Not just one or two of us but everyone agreed that was the best we had ever heard Molineux. And I include the play-off games against Reading, even at Cardiff. We really felt their backing that day and they are so important to us. I think they've accepted it's going to be a hard for us. We're not big fish anymore." Wolves Fans were also today top of a quiz, designed to find the brainiest set of Football fans in the Country. Despite the club being rock bottom of the Barclaycard Premiership, Wolves head the quiz, with Wolves fans averaging a staggering 100% success rate. It is the second time in only a matter of weeks that Wolves had outdone Manchester United. Not only did Wolves Fans out-sing 60,000 fans at Old Trafford, but Manchester United`s "loyal" fans only managed a poor 45% success rate. Come On You Wolves! |
