 Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Aston Villa Midfielder Hassan Kachloul on loan after Goalkeeping Target Pavel Srnicek made a shock move to Portsmouth.

 Pavel Srnicek was due to sign on the dotted line today, to agree a short-term contract with Wolves to act as back-up to goalkeepers Matt Murray and Michael Oakes, however it transpired today that Srnicek has signed for Portsmouth.

 The news came as a blow to Jones who later completed the signing Hassan Kachloul on loan until mid January.

 The 30 year old Moroccan International will be on loan at Molineux until January 17th

 Jones told WOW "Hassan can play on the left or right, or in the middle. I`m really pleased to be able to strengthen with a Player who has plenty Premier League Experience."
