 Wolves were without 9 players at Old Trafford on Wednesday night. The news is better for tomorrows clash with Pompey, but not by much. Wolves are still hampered with terrible injury problems.

 Wolves, in search of their first point of the season tomorrow at home against Portsmouth are still missing 6 key players, whilst Jones will give late fitness tests to two other big players.

 Jones is still without last seasons player of the year Joleon Lescott and has admitted that the England U21 star is still "nowhere near" fitness.

 Mark Kennedy is still injured, however he hopes to start training towards the end of next week.

 Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray will also miss out, he is however only a week away from full fitness.

 Last years leading scorer Kenny Miller has had an injury set-back today. The Scottish striker will have to visit his specialist again, and may be out for up to another month.

 Dean Sturridge is not yet full fit and George Ndah hopes to return to training, with Kennedy, at the end of next week.

 Jones will hand late fitness tests to Oleg Luzhny and Shaun Newton and hopes both will be fit to start the game.

 Should Newton pass his fitness test, Jones is expected to start with the same team which started at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

 Wolves are expected to keep the same 4-5-1 formation with Oakes in goal, Irwin, Naylor, Butler and Craddock behind a midfield of Henri Camara, Shaun Newton, Alex Rae, Captain Paul Ince and Colin Cameron. Nathan Blake will again play as a lone striker.

 New signing Joey Gudjonsson is expected to start from the bench.
