 Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the loan signing of Former Aston Villas Midfielder Joey Gudjonsson. The news of the imminent signing could only be found here in a wolvesfc.co.uk exclusive on Tuesday.

 Gudjonsson has signed on a one-year loan deal, however should Wolves wish to buy the player once the loan has ended, Wolves will be given an exclusive option to sign him.

 The 23 year old Icelandic International had some high`s and lows at his time at Aston Villa, from being sent off in the Villa, Birmingham local Derby, to scoring a cracker on his debut.

 He was an instant hit with the Villa faithful, however a permanent deal was not completed as it was believed Aston Villa could not afford the asking price from Real Betis, his former club.

 Gudjonsson will be introduced in a press-conference today after signing on the dotted line last night.
