 Wolvesfc.co.uk can reveal that Wolves are locked in talks with Real Betis Midfielder Johannes Gudjonsson and hope to complete the signing in the next few days.

 Johannes Gudjonsson spent the most of last season on loan from Betis to Aston Villa, and whilst Wolves continue to try and tie up things with Emerson, Gudjonsson should make the shock move to Molineux.

 The 23 year old, who has 11 Caps has been locked in talks since Wolves 4-0 defeat at home to Charlton and will complete the move in the next few days.

 Gudjonsson, who was Sent Off at Villa Park in Aston Villa`s loss to Birmingham City, but was an instant hit with the Villa faithful. Wolves are set to sign him on a years loan, with a view to a transfer.
