Wolves Manager Dave Jones has agreed a new deal with the club and says he wishes to be Manager at Molineux "for many years".

Jones is set to sign the deal by the end of the week after claiming he wants to be with Wolves "for many years".

Jones was assured of a new contract at Wolves when he confirmed promotion in May at the Millennium Stadium after a 3-0 win against Sheffield United and now he claims everything has been agreed and he just needs to sign.

“Everything has been agreed and it is all done and dusted,” Jones told the Scotsman. “I am really pleased. I want to be part of this club for many years.

“It is a three-year contract and I am pleased to sign it. It just has to be printed off.

“Now it is just a case of signing and I hope it will be sorted before we kick-off the season at Blackburn.”

*Meanwhile the Mirror today claims that Wolves deal to sign Dino Baggio is back on.

Wolves ended their interest in the Italian star a couple of weeks ago after Baggio failed to give Jones a yes or no answer once he was sent back to Italy to consider his options however fresh reports claim a deal could be reached in time for Saturdays Premiership opener.
