Wolves defender Mark Clyde has been forced to withdraw from the Northern Ireland U21 squad due to injury.
Clyde is suffering from tendonitis in his right knee and has returned to Molineux from the Irish camp of Antrim , he will now miss both U21 games against Armenia and Greece.
Speaking to the official Wolves website an unhappy Clyde said "Obviously I’m disappointed to miss out,"
"And to make things worse I’m going to have to spend some time with Baz the physio."
"The knee became sore over the last few days and I’ve been told that the best cure for it is rest." he added
With that news and the news that Joleon Lescott has a niggling groin injury , Wolves boss Dave Jones has been reported to be looking at bringing in a defender before todays deadline as some more insurance cover at the back.
