Match Thread: Wolves v Crystal Palace 22/11/25 3pm KO

Good luck

Rob Edwards makes his debut as Wolves manager today at Molineux. All Wolves fans will be wishing Rob the very best in what seems to be an impossible task to maintain Premier League status. It's a job he's always wanted and his decision to leave Championship high fliers Middlesbrough is in part based upon the uncertainty as to whether this opportunity would ever arise again.

As to the team, well let's just see. As to the result versus a really useful Crystal Palace side, who knows. It's a new era, will our fortunes be reversed?

Apologies for the short intro, unfortunately I am in the midst of family bereavement.

Please leave your thoughts and comments on the manager, match, in fact anything about this Wolves restart in the thread below.

Good luck Rob Edwards, Up The Wolves!!

Hoping for new manager bounce. A few early good results might get us back in contention but probably hoping for too much. Good luck to him though. Sorry to hear your news Ivy.

My sincere condolences Ivy. Football isn't the most important.

Expecting some extra effort from the squad today and who knows, with good crowd support and some understandable formation coupled with sensible substitutions we may squeeze something out of this.
Will be very interesting to see who is captain today.
2-1 to the Old Gold.

Thanks to you both.

Regards the match, effort, yes plenty until we went behind but poor in possession, so many mistakes, substandard ball retention and bordering on clueless up front.

Sorry for you're loss ivy.
As for the match, different game, different manager but same old story, huff and puff football and getting nowhere.
I think the main problem is there is no ceativity in this team.
How we could do with a Neves or Mautinho type player.
God this team is so Bad its untrue.
Id like to say i see a glimmer of hope but there isnt any with this pathetic bunch of players.
So much for new manager bounce.

Yes, the new manager bounce didn't last long. First half was reasonable but no more than that but nothing much changes and as soon as we go a goal behind, we've lost. Hwang, Munetsi, Arias I wouldn't even have on the bench.
