Leeds United visit Wolves today looking to end a seven league game winless run at Molinuex. Wolves have not lost at home in the league to Leeds since 1984 when the vistors claimed a 2-0 win. The did however beat us 2-1 at home in the Zenith Data Systems Cup 2nd round - northern section on December 19th 1990.
Leeds have the better record in the head to head having won 9 games more than Wolves. A win tonight will see us move up to 12th unless we manage to win by four goals or more then we go 11th. If we draw we stay 14th, however a defeat will see us drop to 17th spot.

Match Facts:
Wolves biggest home win was 6-2 in 1959 which is also the highest scoring game between the two sides at Molinue.
Leeds biggest win was 2-0 which they have done three times (72,73 & 84)
Adam Le Fondre has scored three goals in his last three league appearances against Leeds United.
Leeds are winless in their last seven league trips to Molineux, losing five (D2).
Wolves are without a win in five at home, drawing the last three (L2).
The Whites have won only one of their last six Championship away matches (D3 L2).
Benik Afobe has netted just one goal in his last nine league appearances.
I see that the mix in meltdown again as we are playing only 1 striker, as if they think a slight change in formation is automatically going to change things around. This despite the last time we played with 2 strikers at home was in a 2-0 defeat to Brentford. They really are away with the fairies on there.
well done badge, here we go again lads and lasses on the wolves roller coaster, good to see afobe back, lets hope he stays up front. iv'e got a feeling were goner win this one. 3 -1 wolves
There has already been times in the first half where the sky commentator has said that wolves have 3 or 4 bodies in the box. Surely this puts to bed that stupid theory according to those who claim that 451 is too defensive and negative.

Danny Batth he's like clumbsy snail. We're playing ok but it's the one upfront thing again ! Grant holts coming on sometime in the 2nd half my crystal ball says
Holloway at HT has stated in a stumbling stuttering voice " I need the wolves fans to get behind them.. the problem is they are too young, they are so young". Oh fck off you bald @#$%& , precisely the sort of guff we were talking about pre match. In what walk of life would this miserable stunted goblin be able to earn a living if it wasn't for talking b0llocks in games like this.
So we concede straight after bringing a second striker on due to our inept defence. I have seen better organised defences on a Sunday morning. Our midfield have to drop deep to help them out, which shows we cant really afford to play 2 upfront a bit hinders us elsewhere.
It could well suit the board ( whats left of it) getting rid of Jackett. Time taken to get a manager in, good excuse not to spend in January while the new man "finds his feet" and cause for optimism as they flog the dead duck of the early bird.
petewolf 1-3 that's it jacket has to go utter and total rubbish all over the f'cking place
Lets just hope the tea lady isn't lined up to replace him

Zzzzzzzzzz boring, repetitive....you sure you're not looking in the mirror? Or is it the reflection in that window you've been licking?
Danny Batthe utterly awful. The defencive problems start with him. He's @#$%& smaller when he jumps! Pathetic ! Iorfa @#$%& awful. Eubanks landell @#$%& @#$%&! Let's hope they @#$%& jacket off and put us all it our misery
an angry wolf Wonder what Jackett will say to excuse this garbage ?
well you all keep defending him all the time,we all know there's problems in the background, but you can only use that so far, but that was completely sh#t we were all over the place, and again jacket dident have a clue or know what to do about it, we need new ideas and a new manager, we played like a non league team tonight, jackets had his chance, but he's not good enough at a higher level

I can't defend that Pete. My argument on Jackett staying is more down to our circumstances than anything else and being unable to bring in anyone better. As AT says on another thread, our best hope this season is staying in the division.
the squad we've got is no better or no worse than most and i repeat most of the teams in this league, but we completely fold when things are not going our way and it happens week after week, you all saw that tonight that was embarrassing, Leeds a team struggling themselves made us look like a sunday morning league team, again jacket didn't know tacitly how to deal with it. i know the big problem is who do you, or more importantly can we replace him with, i don't know, but what i do know is, new ideas and a new manager is needed
For half an hour we dominated the game against a shockingly poor Leeds side. They make one sub and we fall apart. Henry was poor tonight as was Batth and Ebanks-Landell. What bugs me also is ALF has scored 3 goals in 18 games and Afobe 2 in the last ten. Yet we have Grant Holt sitting on the bench. Why bring him in if we are not going to try him.
What a pile of nonsense that game was.
Just few observations IMO.
1. Afobes finishing was terrible 1 goal from 4/5 clear chances is nothing to shout about.
2. We should have been 4-0 up and we lose 3-2
3. KJ hasn't got a clue , especially if we have to chase a game.
4. How come we usually start games so well only to fall apart in the 2nd half.
5. Teams now look forward to coming to The Mol,
6. We will finish mid table, at best.
7. Wolves fans are so Loyal. The only positive thing in the club at the moment.
8. Back to number 3 above, KJ talks some Horsesh1te. He is Millwall material at best.
