This is just another game for Wolves fans, but for Walsall it`s something to get excited about. Last week it was Newcastle, this week it`s Walsall, is it any wonder that, to the annoyance of Walsall fans, Wolves fans dont care about this game? Walsall Vs Notts Forest

It`s about Pride for Walsall

Competition : Nationwide League Div 1.

Date & Time: 11.1.03 - 3.00pm

Match News: Walsall FC have declared that this game is in "Serious Doubt" due to a frozen pitch. We advise any fans traveling long distances to make the game to phone the club to confirm the Walsall "ground" will be able to host the game.

Directions (Road): You cannot miss the stadium if you travel along the M6. It is just off Junction 9, then the A461 road leads you round to the Stadium. It is well signposted from the Motorway. You can Leave at Junction 10, it takes longer but it is also sign posted. It is a 20 minute walk from the town centre, and it is also served by its own Station "Bescot Stadium Station". If you want to get the bus, the 529 from Wolves gets you to Walsall town centre, then you need to 405 which stops twice in the stadium vicinity.. (Guide to Bescot)

Walsall News: Lee is without Birch (Groin) and Leitao (Suspended), this leaves him short of striking options. He could stick with the 4-4-2 and play Aussie international Zdrilic along side flamboyant Brazilian Junior, or go 4-1-1 with Corica behind one the two available strikers. Ex Wolves gaffer Colin Lee also has the option of drafting in new Loan signing Neil Emblem for his first start against for Walsall against his former club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers News: Nathan Blake claims he will not be fit until next month, so a possible return for the leading scorer in this game is a non-starter. Jones is expected to start with the same team which disposed of Newcastle last week, recalled Striker Adam Proudlock may also get a place on the bench.

Walsall

one2watch: Goalkeeper Jim Walker relishes the big occasions and proved last week how valuable he is for the Saddlers. Their is no doubt that Wolves are going to create chances, and if Walsall have a player that can influence the game it will be Walker if he is on the top of his game. A great shot stopper who commands his box well, Jim is one the best around.

Wolves

one2watch: Anybody who attended this fixture last year will know the dangers that Mark Kennedy poses to the opposition. Wolves won 3-0 in a rout at Becot last year and Mark Kennedy played a part in all 3 goals, as he did against Newcastle on Sunday..

The Verdict: One week it`s Newcastle, the next is Walsall. The two extremes between the two teams can be no bigger, Wolves fans just hope the extremes between the two performances are no different. Wolves, in previous meetings have been able to raise their game against Walsall, winning 3-0, 3-0 and 3-1 in the last three meetings, a record to be proud of if your a Wolf, and a record which is getting far too familiar to the Wolves reserve team (or so it may appear with the growing list of Ex-Wolves players they have) To Wolves fans this is just another "Must Win" game, to Walsall, this is the be all and end all of their season. It must be hard to hate a team with the same passion that Walsall hate the Wolves only to know that the Wolves actually like the Saddlers. This game is massive for both sides, Walsall want to be able to claim victory over the Wolves - something which they have very rarely done in the past and the Wolves just want the 3 points....Thats if the game ever kicks off.

Please Note: Wolves leading scorer Nathan Blake (as above) will not be playing in this game due to injured.
