Blake's Comeback Shock

Wolves top scorer Nathan Blake might be pencilled in for a shock return against Brighton on monday. First thought's that he had broken his foot were quickly banished and he might figure on Monday. Nathan Blake was forced out after only 10 minutes against leaders Pompey Wednesday night with fears that the top scorer at Molineux had suffered a broken foot , but fears were quashed and the striker was reliefed to hear it was only a badly bruised bone and some tissue damage that he suffered.

Blake returned to training on Friday for treatment and still might be fit for a shock return against bottom of the table Brighton , the boss said about Nathan's injury "Blake's foot is not broken and so that is the main thing."

Jones also added "He had a day of rest and we gave Blake an ice bucket for his foot but we need to see whether there is any damage to the ligaments."
"He might be okay for Monday and we have the extra couple of days to check on him before the game."

With Wolves not playing till Monday it will give time for Nathans swelling to subside, and he will hopeful have an outside chance of figuring in the game.
