Wolves sneak a late late draw in rainswept conditions , Kevin Cooper got the equaliser in the 93rd minute and Wolves breathed a very big sign of relief.

Watford 1  ( Cox 66)   Wolves 1  ( Cooper 90)

After a run of 3 straight wins we came up against a Watford side who this seaosn are unbeaten at Vicarage Road , i was looking forward to this game bigtime hoping that we can make it 4 on the trot but it wouldnt be easy.

At kick off the heavens opened and wouldnt stop throughout the 90 mins , we started the better of the two sides and a corner from Denis Irwin was headed goalwards by George Ndah but was comfortably save by Alex Chamberlain.

Watford had a great chance but Matt Murray superbly tipped over a piont blank header from Hiedar Helguson and the Wolves fans stood as one and started chanting England's number one - stand aside Mr Seaman.

The game was swinging from end to end and next up was a chance for Nathan Blake who's effort just inside the box flew just wide of the post

Matt Murray was again called into action when from a cracking pass to Stephen Glass from Allan Neilsen , his effort was blocked by the impressive keeper Murray

Half Time Watford 0 Wolves 0

Wolves nearly went infront in the first few minutes of the second half , from a cooper low cross from the right the ball found it's way to Nathan Blake who swivelled and could only to the despair of Wolves fans behind the goal skyed it over the bar ,really Blake should have got the shot on target.

Watford straight after had the best chance of the game when from a great diagonal pass from Neilsen found an unmarked Helgerson whos effort was saved excellently by Matt Murray and once again the gaint keeper was greeted by Englands number one.

As the game wore on Watfords dominance started to show and went into a deserved lead, from a Neil Ardley corner Neil Cox rose the highest and nodded Watford ahead from 6 yards .

3 subs in 10 minutes Rae for Cameron , Newton for Ndah and Deano for Miller , and Deano got straight into the action with 2 superb runs which breathed new life into Wolves forward line.

Time was ticking away and was almost up and the Wolves lads behind the goal couldnt see were an equaliser was coming from , but as the luck in the past would be against us this time lady luck was shining as best it could on such a miserable afternoon , a hopeful ball towards the edge of the area was brought down by Cooper and fired goalwards but it seemed to hit a Watford defenders hand but Cooper was to pounce at the block and strike a deflected shot  which for Wolves flew into the net of the Hornets net.

With that goal the away end erupted and the following got a little to excited and a few Wolves lads got on the pitch to celebrate but boy was it a great time to score and it keeps the run going for another few days a least , Wolves are hosts to leaders Pompey Wednesday night and it's set up for a cracking nights football in which i hope the unbeaten run continues.

On reflection we were lucky to come away with a piont and maybe we really are going in the right direction.
