Wolves` Skipper Paul Butler has been placed under massive pressure after missing the Stoke Game due to a suspension. Another Wolves` Teenage sensation replaced Butler and put in a stunning performance.
Paul Butler was subject to jeers and abuse after a string of bad performances, and Jones took his Captain off in the Home defeat to Reading.
After a plea from Jones, Butler received the full backing from the fans who cheered his every touch in the Home thrashing of Preston.
As things started to look brighter for Butler he picked up 5 Yellow Cards and served a one match suspension against Stoke.
Mark Clyde, an Irish U21 International replaced the Wolves captain and put in a great performance, one good enough to keep Paul Butler out the side.
If something is not broken, then you should never mend it, and after Wolves good win against Stoke, Clyde looks set to keep his place at the back.
Dave Jones told Teamtalk "The Britannia Stadium is an intimidating place but I had no doubts about Mark handling the situation"
He adds "I was very pleased with his debut in the team,"
Now you get a chance to have your say, the new Online vote asks who you would like in the center back positions on Saturday.
