Wolves were poor at the Weekend, and boy do we know about it.
"Division One Rubbish In Tatty Orange Shirts"
(It Stands For Doritos, funny, eh?)
Above is the headline The Sun used to begin the Match Report for our game against Reading. The Sun have never liked Wolves and since Wolves winger Mark Kennedy sued them for a story they printed which turned out to be complete rubbish they have not had a good word to say about or beloved Gold and Black.
But lets be honest, what can we say positively about Wolves at the moment? Well we need to Win against Preston.
Dave Jones told Teamtalk that the players need
"belief". He said "The whole team is not enjoying the best of
times. The good start we had to our season has been thrown away.
"Now we need to hope something will happen when we face Preston at Molineux
tomorrow. It requires belief - and it will take a good tackle or a goal to help
put things right.
"We certainly need to get back to winning ways," added Jones. "We
have got to get back on track to get the lift everyone needs."
This is a bad episode we are going through, but everyone
is working hard to restore confidence and the only way we can do that is to get
more points on the board.
"Preston will be lifted by their weekend success at Derby and we know we
are in for another tough game.
"Preston will be full of confidence and, as always, well organised but we
will be going all out to shake ourselves out of our poor patch."
