PLAYER RATINGS from the 1-0 win over Burnley. A Jemal Johnson goal in the first half was the difference.

Murray - Did not look as comfortable as he has done in recent games however this was not a poor performance from the big man. Still commanded his area well and made one terrific punch to safety.

Edwards - Pretty steady and looked comfortable. Edwards is a more than capable right back and has earned his right to remain first choice.

Breen - Rock solid at the back and won everything in the air. Always tidied up when needed and is forming a good partnership at the back.

Craddock - The second part of the centre back partnership. It's essential Craddock and Breen remain settled at the back and very little got passed them today.

Clapham - Naylor looks like he's off to Celtic and Clapham slotted into left back really well. Looked more comfortable than he has done on the left wing.

Ricketts - The poorest of the eleven starters. Effort can't be faulted but his deliveries were poor. Can do a job for us but must improve his crosses and final balls.

Olofinjana - Very strong and looked pretty good. Always looked for the simple ball and gave an extra presence in the middle. A big player if he can stay fit.

Henry - Terrific signing by McCarthy. Looks like he enjoys playing in the middle and was very harshly booked. Willing to bust a gut for the club.

Jones - His second ever start for Wolves and it won't be his last. Grew in confidence, looked very dangerous and hit the inside of the post with one free-kick and had one tipped over. Man of the match, huge potential.

Johnson - Very quick, always looking for a loose ball and caused the Burnley back four all sorts of problems. Took his goal very well, one of many hopefully.

Clarke - Looks like a new player. Held the ball, looked dangerous, tracked back and looks fit. A real chance to progress under McCarthy.

SUBS:

Potter - (Ricketts) - A big lad and always looks to put a player in with a neat pass. Prefers central midfield but did a good job on the right.

Davies (Johnson) Ran and ran but did not have too much time to make a real impact on the game.
