Ashley Sets 5pm Deadline

According to The Times newspaper, Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has set a deadline of 5pm today on the sale of the club. It is thought that Barry Moat, the man in the frame to buy the club, is hoping to install Alan Shearer as manager as soon as the takeover is complete. However there has been speculation over whether he can afford the £100million asking price. .

It is probably b@llsh#t, made up by the papers. We have had so many deadlines I don't think it would make a difference
