Andrea Orlandi has signed for Blackpool so it would seem, the highly rated winger joins as a free agent following his release from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer. He could be joined by fellow former seagull David Lopez as early as today. Orlandi, a left sided player adds width to Jose Rigs side and could be thrown into the mix in this weekends encounter with Nottingham Forest.

Writing for Spanish newspaper am14 he writes highly about Jose Riga and how the manager persuaded him to join the club. (please excuse the translation)

The winger has signed a one year deal with the option of a further year and he seems to be relishing the chance to play at Forest this weekend. "On Saturday we start the league in Nottingham, at the City Ground. Beautiful countryside and very loyal to their teams fans. And there will be at least a thousand of our fans. Because here, in England, this is normal. On Monday, I tell you. But wish us luck, because the input we need."
