Pool make the long journey to Plymouth Argyle

Pool make a visit.

Blackpool travel to Plymouth in the worst possible form. 3 points out of a possible 18, and will come up against a resurgent Plymouth side, who have transformed themselves into playoff contenders after a rocky start to the season. Paul Sturrock has brought them round, and added his own personal touch on the squad, and it appears to be working wonders down on the coast

Blackpool are likely to make at least 2 changes to the team, with recent loanees Liam Dickinson and Kyel Reid likely to make their debuts. Reid, however, may well have to be content with a spot on the bench as the 2 Pool starting wingers are hard to displace after Taylor-Fletcher's impressive start to the season, and Adam Hammill's recent resurgence in form. Ben Burgess could return up front, with Steve Kabba dropping the the bench, but he will fight for that place with Dickinson, as Alan Gow is unlikely to be dropped as Pool look to continue the contract negotiations with the Scot.

Likely Line-Up:

Rachubka

Baptiste Evatt Edwards Martin

Taylor-Fletcher Hendrie Southern Hammill

Dickinson Gow

Subs: Reid, Burgess, Kabba, Fox, Barker

Plymouth managed a goalless draw at the site of Blackpool'd first win of the season, Southampton, on Tuesday night, in an absorbing contest. There was no Emile Mpenza that night, causing concern for Argyle fans of a rift due to no suspension and no news of an injury, which forced an injured Paul Gallagher sit on the bench and play 35 minutes. Whether Mpenza returns for the weekend clash remains to be seen, but a back 4 that has leaked a few goals this campaign looks set to remain, with Blackpool looking to capitalise on any holes that may appear in the Pilgrims line up.

Danger Man: Rory Fallon- Scores regularly against Blackpool, including a goal in the late season fixture at Home Park between the 2 last season. The big man will cause some problems for Edwards and Evatt, who will have to be on their guard all game.

Likely Line-Up:

Larrieu

C Barker Seip Cathcart Doumbe

Mackie Summerfield Folly Clark

Fallon Gallagher

Subs: MacLean, Walton, Noone, Paterson, Timar
