It's been 27 years since Blackpool beat Barnsley at Bloomfield Road, tomorrow Simon Grayson will be hoping to break that record and kill another Seasiders jinx. Hopefully Blackpool will start the game full of confidence after beating Southampton away from home two weeks ago.

Blackpool welcome back Kieth Southern from his recent suspension whilst Daniel Nardellio will make his debut for the  Seasiders against former club Barnsley FC. The striker scored mid-week for the reserves as Blackpool beat Preston 2-0. However there is no guarantee he will start, Ben Burgess and Steve Kabba have been impressive recently and work well together. Stephen Crainey remains out, whilst recovering from his recent operation.

Barnsley look set to hand a debut to Argentine midfielder Hugo Co lace, FIFA have given The Tykes temporary International Clearance and they look set to throw him on Saturday. Campbell-Ryce is once again available for selection, but former Blackpool target Maceo Rigters is out with a hamstring problem. Although Barnsley will have Iain Hume available for selection.

The striker joined the tykes last June for £1.2 million from Leicester City. Scoring twice in three games since he joined, he's always done well playing against Blackpool and it wouldn't be surprising if gets one on Saturday. whether he will start or not remains to be seen.

This game is seen as must win for the Seasiders, Ian Evatt explained recently "The bottom line is that if we are going to stay in this league we have to beat teams like Barnsley."

Hopefully we'll be able to beat Barnsley but it won't be easy, We're only one point above us and both teams are the bookies favourites to go down. However we have immense fire power at the moment, Burgess has scored a few and done well in all games played, Kabba looks lively and should of scored against Southampton but had his effort ruled out and then there is always Nards waiting in the wings to score against his former club.
