SICK OF LIVERPOOL FC

By John Christie
May 27 2010

I’m sick of Hicks, Gillett, Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Wychita/whatever, deadlines, debts, interest payments, lies, media witch hunts, defending managers, apathetic fans, bickering fans, will they or wont they players/managers, the embarrassment . The club I love is being dragged down to the gutter, what would Shankly think, or my father, if they were alive today?

I want it to stop, we have to organise an all out boycott of season ticket sales. That is the only weapon we the fans have. If it means me sacrificing my ticket so be it.

They have taken the p!ss for too long , enough is enough.

Completely agree with your sentiments. Unfortunately because of the vast waiting lists for season tickets, someone else will take your ticket (probably an apathetic fan). It seems to me that the only way would be to work out whih game to boycott, then make sure as many fans as possible know not to buy tickets for that game, then to have pickett lines in front of the stadium to prevent any errant fans from entering.

im sick as well

If you could just get every liverpool fan to call RBS head office every single day and block up there switchboards till they get fed up, so they will not extend the loan agreement!!

liverpool city council should look into ways of forcing them to build the stadium or forego planning permission (time limits halting progess etc) - that would liven the paracites up.

You guys really think any of these will work? It will only give more reason for our best players to leave. Hicks will only sell when he wants to. He's too proud to give in. None of these boycott or calls will make any difference. All we can do is express our disgust as many times as possible. But bottom line is if someone pays up, he'll sell otherwise we're stuck with him dragging us to the gutter.

And that really worries us doesn't it?

FFS, who cares what some know nothing jealous idiots think about us, or are getting a good laugh from our situation? Don't you realise how little and inconsequential you and your ilk's thoughts are to the importance of what's going on at our club?

Thanks for your 'enlightening' contribution though.(Sm119)

Comments like yours are making us a laughing stock and are pulling down the club. You should write for the Daily Mail. Every time you moan your uneducated opinions you make a manc’s day.

No-one is bigger than the club, and that includes a fan that wants to try and stop me getting a ticket. If you think investment is the most important thing about football then go support Man City.

Silent majority i take it you approve of our current owners ? You approve of the club dragged down through huge bank loans ? You approve of the owners blatent lies and deciet? You approve of ÂŁ55 million of our money blown on a stadium that exists only on paper ? You do not sit back and let vicious avaristic capitalists sh*t on you from a great height .I believe we need new custodians who will invest enough for us to build a stadium that will make us competitive .Who will embrace the city and the culture of the club and its people .The rest will look after itself. Iam prepared to sacrifice my families long held season ticket not for glory hunting but for long term security of the club .Also to allow for the likes of yourself to have the chance of ticket .

With fans like silent majority around Tom and George will carry on raping the club in to extinction.

Thankyou Bergmars ,Moores decided to sell because as he declared the club needed a billionare not a millionare to build a stadium .He had the wool well and truelly pulled over his eyes by two cowboy chancers.

Stop buying Liverpool merchandise.
Stop subscribing to Liverpol TV.

Join hands with oversea Liverpool fan clubs and boycott all ticket sales when Liveprool FC is touring during summer.

Pre-season game?
Boycott 'em with Liveprool playing in an eerie quiet Anfield.

Boycott all CUp matches.

Boycott all away games.

ALl these will not affect your season ticket..which is more or less a heirloom to diehard Liverpool fans.

If Berlin Wall fell due to People's Power....

If Yelstin was saved from a coup by People's Power...

SUrely, you lots of Liveprool fans as consumers can united together to throw up those pair of money-grabbing Yankees..

It isd actually disunited amongst Liverpool COmmunity that let Hicks ^& Gillett survive for so long.

If the WHOLE LIverpool COmmunity decided to unite together to save one of the icons of the Liverpool CIty......

As a season ticket holder I have already decided not to go to matches next season as protest, many more are too. I just want my seat to remain empty.

There's been a merchandise protest in place for the last 3 years Merlion but you can't stop the day trippers filling their Liverworld bags unfortunately.

Look out for the 4th July Merlion.......big protests planned.

Reds im sweating blood over my renewal ! Well done for making a stand i am only to willing to sacrafice my ST but only if its co ordinated on a large scale by SOS .To many fans are reluctant to release their ticket because of the 70 odd thousand on the waiting list .Many of whom have waited for over 10 years .At the moment i think i will renew but drop all the cup games . Same as the club shop boycot . Ihavnt step foot in their for over 2 years but the place is always booming .Very very depressing .

I wouldn't let your ST go carra, good chance at our age we'll never get one again.

I know what you mean about solidarity, I have even had family members asking if they can use it. What the feck would be the point in my not going if someones filling the seat.

I haven't renewed yet, waiting till the last minute just to keep the yanks sweating.

Reds, SOS got to go global and persuaded all oversea Liverpool fan clubs to boycott Liverpool products.

as long as GIllett and Hicks can't drained money like "loans to parent company" with profits generated, then it is nto viable for them to keep Liveprool FC>

WHy H & G are hanging tough is that Liverpool FC is still a lucrative cash cow with more years of revenues to drain out of it to their "other accounts".

If Liverpool FC goes into adminstrationa dne ven liquidation, it is no great loss to H & G as it is the RBS Consortium that is left holding thr bag as their personal fortunes was never invested into Liveprool FC..perhaps a few mil of personal cash.

WHichever it goes, it is "win-win" for H & G.

The only to get them out of Liveprool Fc is just to choke off that cashflow via money from fans.

Even if you are a ST holder, you cans till refuse to spend one penny at ANfield via F&B and programme sales.

And if you check the accounts, I think ticket sales accounted for about 40% to 60% of oepratign revenue generated?

And what if Liveprool fans refuse to attend anyone of those 19 away league games?

Merlion the local diehard fanbase are by an large educated in the plight of the club .You will not see no were near as many of the new kits on show around the city .Despite this adidas declared our kit to be their biggest world wide seller ,in front of Real Madrids .SOS is spreading the word with branches opening in London ,Sweden and Norway about to open .Think we have one in Dublin already .Unions organising very well across N America ,its the far/middle east were we need to get our word across .Should be an intresting gathering Sunday it has already made the news in the states .Dont think they will apreciate their flag burned again but effigies of Hicks n Gillette will be burned .There will be much nashing of scouse teeth ,cant wait .
