City Dispel Rumours About Future Of Fowler

Stuart Pearce has spoken out regarding rumours currently circulating that former England striker Robbie Fowler may be allowed to leave City on loan in January.

Wolves were one of many clubs linked with a move for Fowler in January, but Pearce is keen to play down talk of the one time goal machine leaving the Manchester club.

"I wouldn't consider it because our squad is too small,” Pearce said

 "We have put out one or two youngsters because that improves them as players but I think that from the senior players' point of view our squad is not big enough to put them out on loan."
